| Sheryl Chapman spent most of her youth in El Sobrante, CA, which in Spanish means "the leftover". In addition to being leftover, Sheryl had the distinction of being poor and white trash too. With a dubious pedigree such as Sheryl's, there's really only one thing to do: become an artist. Sheryl attended and even graduated from the prestigious California College of the Arts.
Sheryl has been illustrating professionally now for just about 20 years. A look at her client list (below), and you wouldn't have any idea she has come full circle and is now living back in a cul de sac, a place dangerously close to that which inspired so much of her work.
